DESCRIPTION:Northeast Alabama Community College is proud to be hosting the performance of Giselle by the world-renowned Alabama Ballet on Friday\, February 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Tom Bevill Lyceum on campus. \n\n\n\nNortheast has been hosting the Alabama Ballet for 17 years. "We always enjoy bringing the Alabama Ballet back to our area\," stated NACC President Dr. David Campbell. "The Alabama Ballet is a highly accomplished and nationally recognized company and in addition to their skills and talents in dance\, they will provide a spectacular show with their costumes\, stage lighting and sound."   \n\n\n\nThe ballet of Giselle tells the story of an innocent girl who is misled into believing the words of her charming admirer. With a broken heart\, she dies a maid and joins the spirits of other maidens who are condemned to exist in the darkness of the forest. The Alabama Ballet describes Giselle as "the most significant romantic ballet of all time!"\n\n\n\nThis performance was choreographed by Roger Van Fleteren\, and music was done by Sergei Prokofiev. The show's run time is approximately two hours.\n\n\n\nNACC college officials worked with the Alabama Ballet to bring you this special Valentine's Day performance. It will be a perfect evening to celebrate the holiday with your entire family.\n\n\n\nTickets are on sale now and are $10.00 per person. They are selling quickly\, so get yours now!
