DESCRIPTION:The Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce annual banquet is a premier event. It is a day to thank members for their patronage\, give out awards\, and celebrate the extended chamber community. The lunch event is held at the Scottsboro-Goose Pond Civic Center and features a dynamic keynote speaker\, Dr. Karockas "Doc Rock" Watkins.\n\nDr. Watkins is a vastly accomplished and a highly educated man\, holding multiple degrees from a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University\, a Masters of Theology\, 2 Doctorate Degrees\, one in Theology and the other in Philosophy\, both from North Carolina's College of Theology and being a Graduate of Vanderbilt University's Executive Development Institute in Business Excellence.\n\n\n\nDr. Watkins also excels in Leadership Consulting and Professional Development as well as being an expert in Emotional Intelligence\, certified as a "Train-the-Trainer" through TalentSmart in San Diego. He is a Certified Leadership Coach and a Certified Executive Coach.
