DESCRIPTION:The Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce has scheduled the annual Montgomery Drive-In for March 19-20\, 2024. \n\n\n\nThis will be a regional Drive-In with Dekalb and Cherokee Counties joining us in Montgomery. Five Chambers will be working together on this event: Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce\, Ft. Payne Chamber of Commerce\, Rainsville Chamber of Commerce\, Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce and Henagar Chamber of Commerce. TVA is the Presenting Sponsor. There will be a reception on the evening of the 19th with Jackson and Dekalb County legislative delegations and other state leaders.\n\n\n\nWe will have a Briefing and several state leaders have been invited including Governor Ivey\, Lt Governor Will Ainsworth\, John Cooper\, State DOT Director\, Ellen McNair\, Secretary of Commerce\, Paige Hutto\, President/CEO\, Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama\, and a representative from the Business Council of Alabama. We will meet with our legislative delegations on the morning of the 20th. Included will be Majority Leader Livingston\, Senator Jones\, Speaker Ledbetter\, Representative Shaver\, Representative Kirkland and Representative Whorton.\n\n\n\nWith a goal to actively involve and engage community leaders\, the current Leadership Jackson County class will be joining us this year as well.\n\n\n\nThe estimated cost for the trip is $600 which includes the cost of bus transportation\, hotel\, meals and evening reception. DEADLINE to register is COB Friday\, February 16\, 2024.
