The Jackson County BAMA CLUB has set the Annual Roll Tide Golf Tournament for Friday, June 28 2019. The format will be a four-man scramble with a shotgun start at 12:00 noon at Goose Pond Colony’s Plantation Course in Scottsboro.
Every par 3 will have a hole in one contest, courtesy of High Country Toyota. The hole in one prizes include a New Toyota, Vacation for four (4) at the exquisite and breathtaking Lajitas Golf Resort & Spa, a $500 Nike Golf Shopping Spree, and a Choice of a Swing Caddie SC200 Portable Launch Monitor or L4 Laser Rangefinder with Slope.
Every golfer will receive a $10 Off Worldwide Golf Gift Card and Free Club Certificate. After the golf tournament, a shootout contest will take place on the closest hole to the clubhouse. Everyone will gather around to cheer, as two lucky golfers will have a chance to win $100,000 cash and take home a New Toyota!
“Proceeds from the tournament help fund 6-7 scholarships each year through our Endowed Scholarship Fund for Scottsboro and Jackson County students attending the University of Alabama”, said Rick Roden, President of the Jackson County Chapter of the University of Alabama Alumni Association.
“We encourage everyone to put a team together and come out and celebrate with us as we raise money for a very worthy cause. Last year we had several who played for the University of Alabama and this year we expect even more.”
At the same time, High Country Toyota owner Steve Ayers noted, “We always look forward to participating in this amazing event. It gives us yet another opportunity to give back to the community with our donation of $5,000 to the Scottsboro City School system. This is just one way we are working to revitalize and energize our local Jackson County schools. We would also like to thank your loyal customers for making High Country Toyota your hometown Toyota dealer. Our customers rock!”
Cost for the tournament is $75 which includes green fees, cart and dinner. Hole sponsorships are available for $100. To register to play or to sponsor a hole, contact:
