Get to know your fellow Mountain Movers during an unforgettable day hike to the Walls of Jericho, led by area hiker Andy Skelton. (App. 6 hours / Difficult)
As a new community touchpoint we wanted to get to know each other better and have the chance to discuss what you would like to see for the future of Jackson County in a informal setting.
The Mountain Movers were created to provide career development, networking and educational opportunities for the next generation of business professionals. Bridging the gap between current and future business leaders, we give a voice to multiple generations about where we are headed as a business community.
This is a difficult hike for most folks – the climb out is a 1,000 ft. elevation gain at approximately 1 mile in difference. Please bring food, water, bug repellent and wear appropriate hiking shoes/boots and clothes.
Plan to meet us at the Skyline Trailhead at 9AM. There is a sign labeled "Walls of Jericho" and a very large parking lot.
Coming from Scottsboro? You can meet us at the Chamber at 8:30AM and carpool to the Skyline trailhead.
In case the weather is not conducive to hiking, the Rain date will be the following Saturday, March 23rd.
