About Us

As the founders of Alabaster Coffee Company, we wanted to take time to introduce ourselves. We are Joel and Brooklyn Tinker and we have two beautiful daughters, Shiloh (3 years old) and Olive (9 months).
We got married in November of 2017 and we’ve been a part of Scottsboro since 2011. Joel previously worked as an electrical engineer for the Department of Defense in Huntsville for 5 years before we stepped out and started this journey of opening Alabaster. It’s been a dream come true.
We also serve as the worship pastors for The Well Scottsboro and we are passionate about bettering our community, bringing people together, and not to mention, craft coffee.
We are so excited and ready to let our roots grow deeper in this city and to meet so many of it’s amazing people.
