The Ferryman's House began as a vision from the Honorable Judge Don Word, who recognized the need for a safe, stable place where families could spend meaningful time together. Established in 2025, the center was created in loving memory of Matt Ferry - a man known for his compassion and dedication to helping those in need. Today, his legacy lives on through a space built to serve and strengthen families across Jackson County, providing expert supervision and resources.
