Born and raised in Scottsboro, Alabama, I've known since childhood that I wanted to help people. I graduated from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I worked with the geriatric population and mental health for 30 years, when I decided to take a new path in life. I wanted to be my own boss, I wanted something to call mine, something to build and be proud of. I chose to open a consignment store in Stevenson because there were none in the city, and I love the history of Stevenson. My love of people, vintage items, thrifting, and love of good deals brought me to the creation of The Wacky Attic Consignment Store. In a short amount of time, every booth filled with the most amazing vendors on the planet! They have all become family to me and I am so grateful for each and every one of them.
I'm the proud mother of my 27 year old son, Davin Graham, who gave my life purpose. I hope he sees his mother as an inspiration to chase his dreams and never give up!
I'm a country music lover to the core! I attend as many concerts and festivals as I can, I even run a facebook group for The Eric Church fan club group! Music is my therapy, it can pick me up at times I think nothing can!
I love to travel!! I've never been to another country, but I will some day! I have gotten to travel to Cabo San Lucas, Jamaica, The Bahamas and, my favorite, Turks and Caicos! My dream is to travel the world!
My long term goals are to open a second store location, start a business for my son and start a tiny home community! Big dreams for a small town gal, huh?? Not this one, I go big and will succeed!!
